Where to go in Las Vegas

Anyone who has been to Las Vegas knows there are no shortages of things to do.  There is no possible way that we could keep up with all that goes on here in Las Vegas.  Although, we will list a few links and a couple of must-see attractions.

Las Vegas offers everything to everyone.  Whether you're retired or, or still a toddler, you can find something to enjoy.

We offer some of the finest restaurants in the world.  Depending on what type of food you're in the mood for, I've listed a few of the many great places to enjoy a meal.

  • Buffets:
Bellagio & Paris are two very excellent buffets.  You can have cracked crab, wide variety of desserts, and many exotic foods at Bellagio.  Paris offers great Flan; beget bread, excellent fruits, and a wide variety of exotic dishes.
  • Italian:
Grand Lux Café in the Venetian:
I recommend the Sunday Night Pasta Dish.  Bring your appetite; this dish will easily feed two.  It's spaghetti with short ribs, mushrooms, and a variety of Italian ingredients.  There are other great dishes there as well, and they have a wide variety of Martini's to choose from.
  • Seafood:
I'm not the biggest seafood connoisseur, although I have heard great things about the seafood buffet at the Rio.
  • Mexican:
Just east of the strip, there is a restaurant by the name of Cozumel's that offers great Mexican food.  In that same plaza there are two other restaurants that you might want to try out.
  • Chinese:
They have a Benihana's restaurant inside the Hilton Hotel.  They offer an excellent show while cooking your food.

Night Club hot spots seem to change on a regular basis.  Right now most of the action seems to be taking place at the Palms Hotel & Casino; where they just had the first Palms Girl competitions.  It seems this first year's crown, will actually be shared between two twins.  Check out www.Vegas.com for more information on most current places to hang out when you're here in Las Vegas.

For those who want a more relaxing trip, I would suggest a room at the Monte Carlo (they have the most relaxing beds), and a trip to their spa treatment center on the second floor (you will surely thank me later).

Enjoy an abundance of Golf at one of the nearly 50 courses in the Las Vegas area.  See Golf Courses.

If you brought the kids, don't worry.  A trip to the Shark Reef at the Mandalay Bay, video games and rides at Circus Circus, and a simple stroll down the strip at night to enjoy all the bright lights, is usually enough to tire them out so you take turns sneaking-off to the blackjack table.

Shopping Shopping Shopping.  Las Vegas is well know for it's abundance of great shopping.  They have remodeled the Fashion Show Mall directly across the street from Wynn's new multi-billion dollar Hotel and Casino (that will be opening in 2005).  They have also been remodeling the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace, and just recently completed work on the Shops between Mandalay Bay and the Luxor.  We also have two large premium outlet centers just a few miles from the strip that offer even more shopping.  Bring your charge card and enjoy.

For more information on things to do in Las Vegas, go to www.vegas.com, I'm sure you will find whatever it is you're looking for.
